Along with her love for writing children’s books, Katie Marie’s mission throughout her author journey is to inspire children to read as well as help build self-worth and positive self-talk through spreading the importance of positive affirmations. She ends every in-person story time with the following affirmations, “I am brave. I am strong. I am smart. I am kind.” With your help, she hopes to positively impact how kids view themselves. To build their confidence one power pose and self-affirming sentence at a time.
