About the Author
Katie Marie is a children’s author who believes big imaginations grow from small moments. She’s been writing down ideas and dreaming of publication since high school, but it wasn’t until her son was born that her first full story came to life. That spark became T-Rex and Tuck Explore the Zoo—and she hasn’t stopped writing since.
A proud graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, Katie Marie spent one unforgettable semester studying abroad in London with her best friend. These days, she’s back in the Midwest, living a wonderfully busy life with her husband, two kids, and three dogs. She loves sunshine, laughing until she cries, and finding magic in everyday tasks (like reading one more bedtime story).
Her goal is simple: create books that make kids smile, spark curiosity, and bring families together—one story at a time.
